Mobile Website: We have a new mobile-optimized site at mobile.freekradio.com. So far we've tested it with Android 2.2 (Froyo), iPhone 3+ and the iPod Touch. We'll test it with other devices as chance and cash provide. In any case, if you've got yourself a relatively newish pocket browser, nose on over to our optimized site. It just might work, or so we can hope...

WHO: Freekradio is a non-profit, indie, internet radio station founded by Kevin Ford / Mo-Freek in 2003, with the righteous help of Jammes Luckett. In 2009 Jonathan DiMarco / Daypass Productions joined, and Freekradio continues to grow now with the constant help of close friends and collaborators from around the globe.
WHAT: From its inception, Freekradio was a station put together by filmmakers. We had so much great music at our fingertips from the movies that we made, and we also had an interesting archive of musical documentary works. The idea came up to put it all together and mix indie music with snippets of dialogue from our films. Eventually that led to us bringing in actors to play our DJ's, and to make our talk shows, and to become the "in between" voices on the station.
Freekradio is COMMERCIAL-FREE by design. We pay our music-licensing fees through Live365.com, and instead of running commercials, we rely on the kindness of our listeners and other charitable donors.
WHEN: Freekradio broadcasts live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, especially on Holidays! We do not rest in bringing you the hottest jams in the history of the world. We are a movement of music madness, and the only time we shut down is when our gear malfunctions and we have to restart it all.
WHERE: Freekradio was born in a dirty little apartment in Hollywood in the Summer of 2003. Currently Freekradio broadcasts from a top-secret studio in Austin, Texas.
